The Happenstance

I live in the world of academia, where life is not what I thought it would be. One day, I will have a PhD and likely not do shit. 

My laptop is my ride or die bitch. I am mega productive on it once in a blue moon and I like to unwind by looking at pretty pictures, watching funny videos, and jamming to bad ass music. Hence, that’s pretty much what this is all about. Sometimes I use this as an avenue for processing life’s shit and sometimes I delete it afterwards. Sometimes I think this damn blog is mine and that kind of shit happens in life, and really, this wouldn’t reflect me if it didn’t include some way too personal thoughts and details. 

Also, I don’t edit what I write. Get over it. I spend half my life editing manuscripts or grading papers. Editing blog entries is tiresome. 

My favorite contraction is “let’s” … as in “let us”. 

I eat a package of mini pop-tart crisps at least once a day. 

I pick my nose on the regular. 

I like to insert random movie references in conversation to see if anyone gets them.
